1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NikahFirst, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

These terms are published with a version number, shown above. When we make a change that affects you, we publish a new version and ask you to accept it the next time you sign in. We record which version you accepted, and when.

2. Eligibility

To use NikahFirst, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• State your marital status honestly. A man who is already married may create a profile when he is seeking an additional marriage; this is permitted in Islam and permitted on NikahFirst.
• Hold only one account
• Provide accurate and truthful information in every profile you create

3. Profiles You Create for Someone Else

Most profiles on NikahFirst are created by a parent, guardian, sibling or matchmaker rather than by the person seeking a proposal. That is expected and supported.

If you create a profile for another person, you confirm that you have their knowledge and permission to do so, and that you are authorised to accept these terms and our Privacy Policy on their behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish about them, for any photographs you upload of them, and for telling them how their information is used.

The person a profile describes may ask us at any time to correct it, hide it, or remove it, whether or not they hold the account.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring your profile information is accurate and current
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Use the platform for any purpose other than matrimonial
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Send spam, solicitations, or promotional content
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Use automated systems to access the platform
• Copy, save, republish or circulate another member's photographs or contact details
• Engage in any fraudulent or deceptive activities

6. Photographs and Contact Details

Photographs are private on NikahFirst. They are never published in clear form, and this is not a setting that you, or we, can switch off. Visitors and other members see a blurred preview; the clear photograph is shown only once both sides have accepted a connection.

Contact details are treated the same way. A member's phone number is never displayed on a profile and is revealed only to an accepted connection.

Names are not shown on public profile pages. Income is the one detail you may choose to publish or keep private, from your privacy settings.

7. Who You Can Send an Interest To

Connection requests on NikahFirst are limited, permanently and for every account, to profiles of the opposite gender and the same sect. A bride's profile may send only to a groom's, and a groom's only to a bride's; Sunni profiles may connect only with Sunni profiles, and Shia profiles only with Shia profiles.

These limits cannot be bypassed, waived or changed, by a member or by our own staff, and no membership tier removes them. Where the sect is missing on either profile, the request is refused rather than allowed through.

8. Profile Verification

All profiles are reviewed by a person before being published. We reserve the right to reject or remove any profile that violates our guidelines or appears to be fraudulent. A verified badge means we have spoken with the member; it does not guarantee the accuracy of the information they have given us.

9. Account Restrictions

Nikah First reserves the right to restrict certain user accounts if their intentions, activities, or engagement patterns appear unclear or inconsistent with the matrimonial purpose of the platform.

In such cases, the user account may remain active but with limited functionality. This restriction may include, but is not limited to, the following:

• The user's personal contact number will not be displayed publicly or shared directly with other users.
• Instead, a verified Nikah First team member or consultant's contact details may be shown.
• Any connection or communication request involving a restricted account will be facilitated and mediated by the Nikah First team or an assigned consultant.

This measure is implemented to maintain the seriousness, safety, and integrity of the platform and does not imply wrongdoing or misconduct by the user.

Nikah First reserves the right to review, modify, or lift such restrictions at its discretion after further evaluation or clarification.

10. Membership and Payments

Creating a profile, being discovered, and receiving and responding to interests are free. Sending interests to start a new connection requires a paid membership. Memberships are billed annually and include a set number of connections, which are counted only when the other party accepts.

All payments are final and non-refundable unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time.

11. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it on our platform, within the limits described in section 6. We own all rights to the NikahFirst platform, design, and features.

12. Ending Your Membership

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any reason at our discretion.

You may hide or archive a profile yourself at any time from your dashboard. To deactivate or permanently delete your account, contact our team from your settings page and we will action it for you. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

13. Disclaimer

NikahFirst is a platform that connects individuals seeking marriage. We do not guarantee matches or outcomes. We are not responsible for the conduct of users or the accuracy of their profiles. Users are advised to exercise caution and involve family members in their search.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NikahFirst shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
